Results already achieved and "success stories"

Six month after the first FP7 calls, Detect-it 2 has already facilitated the submission of some 64 FP7 proposals, which resulted in the involvement of some 205 SMEs in the project consortia.

Among these proposals, you can find the DECanBio project: "a novel way to identify biomarkers in the cancer area", addressed a call Health 2007.

One of the mains problems was the identification of the right partners. Experience showed that such projects have to master the whole value chain from research to market. Now, usually scientists have contact all over the world in their field but very often do not have access to industrial networks.

The Detect-it tool responded perfectly well with this need of networking.

More details and other success stories here.

ABC Network

Title: ABC-Network, Network of European agro-bio clusters

Objective: Developing an in-depth co-operation between clusters focused on agro-biotechnologies applied to the agro-food sector, for strengthening the clustering process and networking between actors within already established clusters and supporting a clustering process in less advanced regions, through a shared analysis of the critical success factors and best practices.
