Round Tables

The concept initiated in 2005 is meant to be simple and speedy. The whole event takes place in a half day meeting.

The first part is dedicated to the speakers previously identified among the members of the Agrobiopôle wallon. They present a short talk about ongoing or completed project(s) and/or technology developments in relation with a thematic priority of the Agrobiopôle wallon and emphasise the possible public-private partnerships and valorisations.

The second part is the "questions/answers time". This is the right moment for exchanging points of view and experiences. But also to initiate partnerships. This phase is often extended during a lunch time.

The objectives of these round table conferences are:

  1. to communicate about the R&D topics led by the members of the Agrobiopôle wallon;
  2. to create contacts and partnerships between scientific and industrial stakeholders;
  3. to identify possible valorisations for the projects/technology presented.

The public to be invited is targeted by together the speakers and our "operational cell" taking the advantage of our members network and our commitment in other international networks.

The speakers and invited participants should go home with information of added value for new partnerships and the development of their own activities.
